as the title clearly states, this is the out of character board. you can chat out anything you want here, yet restrain from any subjects that younger viewers should not be seeing.

when a male and female mate, please post here. the staff will decide if the female is pregnant, based on the pack sizes and gender ratio. once the female is pregnant, the staff will decide how many pups will be born. the mother and father may choose the appearance, personality, who dies at birth and most of the time, the gender.

Want to group all your characters into one thread so people know the information about them without searching for their biography? Post that here, keeping it up-to-date. Please do make sure that people can read it, however.

The largest expanse of water on the isle lies near the center of the landscape, effectively seperating Rèsolu and Sèdition territory. The lake isn't essentially large, but is big enough to be rather noticeable from a distance. More than anything, it is it's depth that interests the wolves - relics of an ancient world have been retrieved from the murk. This area retains a strange mystic about it that sends shivers down the spine of the most gallant wolves for despite its otherworldly beauty and calm, something about this lake is exudes danger.

This marshland territory is closer to Felwood territory than it is to Rèsolu. A five mile trek will bring you near the Innis field if you follow the winding marshland tributaries. It isn’t necessarily a marsh though, due to the murky waters and unruly vegetation it gives off such an impression. The atmosphere here is rather muggy in all other seasons, winters a cold and the air frigid. During the warmer months you may catch sight of gators lingering about, waiting patiently for unsuspecting animals to wander too close.

Despite the calm that surrounds this area it is not likely to be a place you will visit often without someone at your side. Located just beyond the everglade there is water around here though not deep enough to pose a problem. Females be warned, roving males with an appetite for fear and forcing their will on others, are known to lurk behind the curtains of these gnarled trees. The perfect supply of cover allows others to sneak around, virtually unnoticed. It is not uncommon for lone females to be kidnapped and brought to other territories.

The outermost portion of Fringe that leads toward pack territory has been given its name because of the restless souls that flock here. This portion of forest has a very surreal atmosphere. Regardless of the time of day mist this area remains fairly dark with only the most persistent of rays penetrating the fold of branches. Mist rolls through at all hours and some even say the wind harbors the souls of the dearly departed. Their wails fill the air at night and during the winter their shadows flicker about the trees as they become more active.

The Rèsolu border is a quiet, prey infested area. Plump deer flock over the border, their bellies full with the miles and miles of grass that grows in Rèsolu territory. Other than the deer, life is scarce. Trees and other plantlife (other then low shrubs and grass) is no where to be found. Old human traps lie around the borders as a signal for the faint hearted to stay away from the fierce, bold Rèsolu pack.

In the depths of the Mystical Forest lies the Rèsolu Campground. A 'wall' of tall, leaning pine trees covers the edge, allowing a safe and peaceful camp. On the far right side is the Heath Rock, the place where each wolf takes a den. In the center lies the largest boulder for miles. It is used when the leaders have an announcement or are in the midsts of a pack meeting. In the left side of camp, a private, enclosed burrow it used as the den of the leaders. Important artifacts are stored there, carefully guarded by the leader themselves. Right next to the leader's den, another burrow is found. It is much more smaller then the leader's and is the pack's nursery. Near the edge of camp lies a tavren where captured enslaved wolves are stored. The slave wolves always moan and cry, so are kept away from the members.

The Mystical Forest is the forest that surrounds the Resolu Campground. Tall pine trees are scattered all around, creating a canopy over the wolves. The sky cannot be seen when you are in the Mystical Forest. The forest changes each season; even the prey changes each full moon. Young pups in training come here with their mentor to practice fighting, hunting, tracking and even herb collecting. Random hollows are used as dens for the apprentices and their mentors to spend a night or two, depending completely on each and the elements; it is the biggest test that all apprentices must pass to became a complete wolf.

The Sunset Beach is the most relaxing bit of territory in the Resolu pack. The water is warm, refreshing and shallow enough that pups could swim in it. Surrounding the beach is, obviously, yards of long sand. Crabs and lobsters lurk around the waters, so travellers are warned to stay away from the tidepools. Sharks and other dangerous creatures hide in the deep water. Mothers tell their pups to stay close to shore, but the ocassional death occurs on Sunset Beach. Sunset Beach is known for the magnificent sunset every full moon. Lovers gather every full moon for a romantic outing together, away from the stress of pack life.

The Abandoned Lighthouse is a lonely place. Travellers or pack members are warned to only travel here if it is completely necessary. Important books and artifacts with too much of a value to be kept at the camp, are on the top level of the lighthouse, guarded by the gods and goddesses. No lone wolf can break through the lock, but no one is sure that it isn't possible. Small shrubs and bushes lurk near the lighthouse. Prey is abundant here.

The borders of Sèdition could be described in one word: dark. Tall, dead trees are scattered all over. They allow the pack members to lurk and hide, awaiting an unexpected visitor to pounce on. At night, eerie noises are heard. No wolf knows where they come from and most don't want to find out.

The Sédition Campground is a desolate place in the middle of nowhere. There is hardly any shrubbery or any other plant life, for that matter. Small hares and desert animals are usually the prey found on the camp's borders. The wolves make their home in dens, surrounding a tainted pond in the center. On the far corner of camp is a elevated rock where the leader stands to make accouncements, call pack meetings or any other of his duties.

The Sombre Forêt, also known as the Dark Forest, is quite similar to the borders. The only difference is the Dark Forest is much more green with more trees and shrubs. But these trees and plans are rather odd; they seem dead, even in the spring. Mothers tell their young to stay away from the forest at night, since evil creatures lurk in the shadows. Creatures of these sort have been spotted before and are known as the 'rippers' for their extreme violence.

Falaise de Glace, or the Icy Cliff, is a snow covered mountain. Snow stays atop the mountain all year, even on the hottest days of summer. Many wolves have died on the cliff, falling to their death if a piece of ice cracks. It is said that the ghosts of past wolves that have died haunt the Icy Cliff, awaiting an unexpected wolf they can murder. Strange howls and voices are heard.

Cassé la Rue, or the Broken Street, is in the middle of the abandoned human village. The street has old human remains scattered across the cobblestone walkways. Buildings line the side of the street. Some buildings are open and are popular among the wolves for visiting. Others, oddly, are locked up tight. Old human voices are heard daily. Most of the words the wolves cannot make out. It is told that spirits and human figures haunt the street, awaiting the wolves that took their home from them.

The boundaries leading into Felwood are nothing quite like the others within the lands. Its a desolate wasteland, nothing really inhabits the area except for dead trees and the occasional stare hare. Scorpions and snakes are more abundant here, so wolves must be wary when walking through the dirt covered land. A simple stream runs from the middle of this wasteland, where a small pond rests, heading off toward the inside of the territory. This place is where lone wolves come to see if they could reside within the Fallen's pack.

Seeming to be surrounded by three of the main points of Felwood's territory, the camp is a single meadow, surrounded on the east side by the Redridge Mountains, Loch Modan to the north, and Silverpine Forest on the west and south sides. Tall grasses make up this unusual place, with a small dirt clearing where dens are. There is a large rock jutting out of the ground near a fairly larger den, home to the King and Queen. The large rock is usually where one could listen to what the King or Queen has to say.

Located off of Desolace, and taking up most of Felwood's territory, Silverpine Forest is made mostly of what it's name implies. Pine trees are plentiful here, though some oak and beech trees litter the forest. Within this place, small prey animals roam. You can also find the occasional deer, but they are very few. Paladins, the fighters of the Fallen, come to the special clearing within the forest for their fights between each other, or for fun.

A border to the Fallen's den site, Loch Modan is a shallow lake, plentiful in a variety of fish. It is a mystery as to how this lake remains filled up during the summer, most believing that an underground spring feeds into it, keeping it full at all times of the season. The waters are crystal clear until exactly the middle, where it becomes murky and dark. What exactly lurks in these dark waters is unknown, but legend has it that a monster lives there. Mothers always tell their pups that a large crocodile nests at the bottom of Loch Modan, waiting for an unsuspecting pup to wander too close to the lake's edge, just to pluck it from the shore and drag it into the murky depths. No such creature has been sighted, however.

Mountains tower over the Fallen's territory, snow covered no matter what time of year. Redridge Mountains, named after the red tint the rock seems to get at sunset, is one of the highest points within the land. One can see as far as you can from the top. Small trails are worn into the mountain sides, leading to small clearings, caverns, and even an old set of ruins. Hawks and eagles make their nests up here, so if you happen to stumble upon a nest, then you had better turn tail quickly, or both parents will be after you. And one must tred carefully while on the trails. One slip and you can be tumbling down the mountain side to your death.

The abandoned courthouse is located in the center of the three pack's territory. It is an expansive block of concreate with small pillars on all four sides. Each leader stands on one of the pillar when they come together for a Gathering. Sometimes a rogue or loner comes and represents the others. (In that case, he/she would stand on the forth pillar.) The atmosphere is windy and thick, fog covering all over the area. The Spirits Rest is quite close to the Courthouse, flocking on the border. Some wolves have to travel through there, making the journey long and difficult.

The forsaken rogues live on the top of Rhyme Mountain, their only piece of territory. It is a dreaded place with a freezling climate and many predators lurking about. Wolves trespassing on the rogues land with be dragged off and severly punished. Some wolves that try to climb Rhyme Mountain never make it back. The mountain is a tall peak with deep shrub and dry grass covering the sides. At the peak, expansive pinetrees are in large clumps where the rogues make their dens.

Known as Windy Vista to the wolves, the enclosed village is actually a once bustling home for humans. Now, not one human has been seen in the houses for years. Wolves have never passed the Windy Vista, scared of the extreme wind and even rapid flooding in the late summer. Windy Vista is a large piece of property with an enclosed gate on all four sides. Some sleek, skinny wolves are able to get inside the gate. When they do, the houses are old and dusty. Runaways and even some loners are often seen cowering inside the lone homes.

The Bloody Battlefield, commonly just known as the Battlefield, is where the wolves of all packs come and fight with each other. It's the only place where the wolves can fight each other without getting in trouble. The battlefield has miles and miles of dead, blood stained grass. The wall of the battlefield is the bones of every wolf that has died in the many battles. It is one of the most gruesome and depressing places wolves have ever travelled to. Small, two wolf fights are common, yet even complete pack fights are possible.

The Mystic Cave is a deep, expansive cave where most wolves come to relax. In the most shallow end of the cave, the back left, is a small stream of clean water. Prey is always abundant here so wolves have the chance to relax, drink, eat and enjoy a conversation. There are many rumors and beliefs about the cave but the biggest is that a fairy used to live in it, blessing all who passed with incredible health.
